Nothing so traumatic. I split the existing chapter 5 and put part in Chapter 4 and part in Chapter 6. Now I'm trying to write a new Chapter 5 to give more exposition on two of the main characters. I am not changing the plot. The rest is to smooth out the draft. I am also trying to add a little more description to give more setting and atmosphere. I am actually thinking of changing the setting from the very small town to a more intermediate sized city. I haven't written any more short stories, though. I need to. I have some ideas.
Don't give up! From what I read the first time around, it's going to be an awesome book. Did you leave the arrangement/agreement between the two female characters in the book?
I am not giving up on anything. It needs some work. Of course, I'm not changing the relationships. Some things need to be set up better, and I need some more exposition. Relax. I just have to fill in the holes. Get it? Fill in the holes. I crack myself up sometimes.

You're killing me! What is it you're re-writing, the characters or the plot?
In the mean time, have you written any more short stories?
